Abstract

The article aims to describe the experience of implementation of PET-Health / Health Surveillance (PET-Saúde/VS) in the Surveillance Program of Water Quality for Human Consumption (VIGIAGUA) in the city of Colombo, in the state of Paraná. Six pedagogical moments were established by the team: 1) Conceptual / Theoretical / Operational; 2) Experience in the field of municipal actions of VIGIAGUA; 3) Evaluation of the samples collected in VIGIAGUA; 4) Implementation of external control and monitoring of fluoride and trihalomethane levels; 5) Evaluation of the results in external control of fluorides and trihalomethane levels; 6) Scientific publicity and disclosure of actions in the community. This methodological approach has provided a reflection on the service practices with PET-Health/VS, providing an assessment of resources and technologies developed, and the disclosure of the health surveillance actions in the scientific and community contexts.
