Quality of life among nursing workers of a university hospital

AIM: Analyzing the quality of life of nursing workers of a University Hospital, specifically the Mental Health domains and Emotional Aspects, taking into account the incorporation of the care in mental health to the internees. METHODOLOGY: Partial results of research on psychiatric attendance in a university hospital of Cuiabá. Descriptive transversal study. Population constituted by all the nursing workers from the medical, surgical, gyneco-obstetrics and pediatrics clinics(110). Data collection accomplished through SF36 and sociodemographic questionnaire. RESULTS: The female sex prevailed (86,4%), married people (47,3%), age group between 30 to 49 years old (67,3%). Pain was the most limited quality of life domain among the assistants (58,3%) and nursing technicians (61,4%); among the male nurses the Vitality presented the smallest score (63,4%).Downloads
