The publishing criteria established by the Journal aim to guarantee the quality of publications. Tools for finding similarity of texts are used to detect plagiarism, taking into account that academic plagiarism, at any level, is a crime.

If there is disagreement in the opinion, the article will be forwarded to a third consultant (ad hoc). The editor then forwards the opinion of acceptance, reformulation or justified rejection to the authors. Anonymity is guaranteed throughout the judging process. The decision on acceptance is made by the Scientific Editorial Board. Rejected articles, duly reformulated, may be submitted as a new work, initiating another judgment process.

Journal History

In 1987, some health professionals from Paraná who were part of the nascent Brazilian Movement for Health Reform decided to create a representative entity. Nucleus of Studies in Collective Health (NESCO) was created and developed its activities successfully in several areas, including the publishing of a journal called Espaço para Saúde. In 2013, a new phase began, with the adoption of a properly associative model, opening its membership to individuals and public, private and Third Sector institutions. INSCO – Institute for Studies in Collective Health was born. Since 1988, he has created and published dozens of editions of the journal Espaço para a Saúde, having ceded his editorial rights (2018) to the Graduate Program in Teaching in Health Sciences at College Pequeno Príncipe – FPP.
